AlpStar Camping & Restaurant grew out of a simple wish: to reconnect with nature. It began as a search for somewhere far from the crowds, where we could wake to birdsong and fall asleep under the stars. The land we escaped the city for soon became more than our own retreat — in time it turned into a stopping point for everyone looking to rest their spirit the way we once did.

We remember pitching the first tent as if it were yesterday. The wind had an edge to it that day, but our fire was warm — and that warmth is still what AlpStar Camping & Restaurant is made of. Over the years we have grown the campsite gently, in step with the land rather than at its expense. Today it is a quiet stop for nature lovers, caravan enthusiasts and anyone who simply needs to breathe for a while. Here you can take your morning coffee facing the mountains, read in the shade through the afternoon and join the conversation around the fire at night. Best of all, everything happens at its own pace, with nothing rushed and nothing forced...
